Description

GE IS200EDEXG1BBB Exciter De-Excitation Board is a bridge and protection board from GE’s EX2100 series, designed for generator protection and excitation control. It initiates the de-excitation process during emergency situations such as circuit breaker or contactor disconnection, rapidly reducing or fully extinguishing the generator’s excitation magnetic field to ensure safe system operation. It uses Hall effect sensors to detect current changes and silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCR) to execute de-excitation functions.
