Description

The GE Fanuc IC698CPE030 Rx7i PACsystem CPU is a high-performance central processing unit module belonging to the PACSystems RX7i series programmable automation controller (PAC). Powered by a 600MHz Pentium-M microprocessor, it delivers robust computing capability for real-time control of processes and material handling systems, and supports programming via ladder logic, structured text, function block diagram, and C programming languages.

It features 64MB user memory + 64MB user flash memory, with battery-backed user storage and non-volatile flash for secure, large-capacity program and data retention; it also offers configurable data/program memory and auto-locating symbolic variables. The module supports up to 32K discrete I/O points and 32K analog I/O words, and can handle up to 512 program blocks with a maximum 128KB per block, enabling complex logic hierarchical design.

Built with VME64 standard architecture, it communicates with I/O and intelligent option modules via a rack-mounted backplane, and is compatible with 90-70 series discrete, analog I/O, communication modules, and VME modules.
