Description
IS200EISBH1AAC is an Exciter ISBus Board designed for gas turbine systems, and is an integral component of the GE EX2100 system. As a specialized communication board for M1, M2, and C controllers, its core functions include receiving fiber optic feedback signals via the control backplane and transmitting them to the DSPX controller. It supports multi-interface communication, using RS-232C to facilitate data transfer between the DSPX, tool ports, and keyboard ports through a backbone connector.
Equipped with redundant ISBus interface electronics for redundant exciters, the board enhances overall system reliability and stability. Its modular design features a single-slot, 3U tall form factor, installed in the control rack below the DSPX for easy installation and maintenance. The board receives current and voltage signals from the generator magnetic field (and exciter when required) through front-panel fiber optic connectors, then transmits these signals to the ground detection module.
