GE FANUC D25-0157-000003 Measurement and Control Device
Description
The GE FANUC D25-0157-000003 is a second-generation “Super IED” (Intelligent Electronic Device), an integrated measurement and control unit designed for substation applications. It combines multiple core functions into a single scalable, flexible platform, eliminating the need for separate devices. Key functional roles include programmable logic controller, substation LAN node, IED and switchgear-level controller, billing-grade meter (uncertified), power quality monitor, event and waveform recorder, and remote terminal unit (RTU).
It supports both AC and DC analog inputs and control outputs, adapting to diverse input and status requirements. For communication, it offers dual RS-232 serial ports or dual Ethernet LAN ports with DNP/UDP/IP protocol support, and can connect to over 75 different IED types via traditional serial interfaces and an expanded interface library. Time synchronization and maintenance are compatible with ConfigPro, ProLogic, and WESMAINT tools, and the device meets IEEE, IEC, and CE Mark quality standards.
Additional features include a local human-machine interface (HMI), a hardware enable/disable control switch that locks out physical control operations when set to disable, and an integrated metal chassis housing all core hardware, software, and communication components. It is ideal for advanced substation monitoring and automation, supporting tasks such as 220kV system parameter sampling, circuit breaker program-controlled interlocking logic, synchronization loop management, and switch/disconnect operation control.
