Description

The Honeywell FC-SAI-1620m Analog Card is a multi-functional control module designed for industrial automation and control systems, with dual operational capabilities as a digital motion control card and an analog input module. As a motion control solution, it supports control of 1 to 4 axes of servo or stepper motors; adding a functional sub-board enables control of a 5th axis or expansion of communication channels. As an analog input module, it features 16 analog input channels, with signal ranges of 0(4)-20mA or 0-4V depending on configuration. The card includes 16 built-in 24V digital input ports and 8 built-in digital output ports, with expandable capacity to 256 digital I/O points and 32 analog input points via extensions. It is equipped with two RS-232 serial ports, one RS485 port, and a reserved TTL channel, which can connect to Trio fiber optic network devices via an external adapter; one serial port can be set to MODBUS protocol for communication with PLCs or HMIs. The module supports multi-task motion control programs configured and written by a host computer, with the Trio BASIC multi-task version allowing 5 TrioBASIC programs to run simultaneously in the controller by priority. Available working voltages include 24V and 220V, with CE certification for compliance with industry standards.
