BENTLY NEVADA 330500-00-02 Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 330500-00-02 Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor is a piezoelectric velocity sensor designed for industrial vibration monitoring. It utilizes piezoelectric crystal technology with an integrated circuit embedded in the accelerometer, converting vibration acceleration into a velocity signal output; its solid-state design has no moving parts, eliminating mechanical wear and degradation. The sensor offers flexible installation, supporting vertical, horizontal, or angled mounting without special calibration required. As part of the Velomitor series, this model features core specifications including a frequency range of 4.5Hz to 5kHz (±3dB) and a sensitivity of 3.94mV/mm/s (100mV/in/s) ±5%. It is engineered to measure absolute vibration (relative to free space) of bearing housings, enclosures, or structural components. Typical application scenarios include condition monitoring of rolling bearing equipment such as pumps and fans, and gear mesh frequency monitoring when paired with an accelerometer. Related series variants include the 330525 enhanced model, which meets NEMA 4X/IP65 protection ratings for use in high-temperature or corrosive environments, and the 330750/330752 high-temperature series, specialized for gas turbines and other high-heat equipment. Note that rotor imbalance or misalignment faults may not be fully reflected by housing vibration, so measurement validity should be evaluated for specific use cases.
