Description

The BENTLY NEVADA 9200-06-05-05-00 Two-Wire Velocity Seismoprobe Transducer is a two-wire velocity sensor designed for industrial vibration monitoring, utilizing moving coil technology to deliver a voltage output directly proportional to sensor vibration velocity. As part of the Seismoprobe series, it is engineered to measure absolute (relative to free space) vibration of bearing housings, casings, or structural components, suitable for both continuous monitoring and periodic measurements with test or diagnostic instruments.

Key technical specifications include a sensitivity of 20 mV/mm/s (500 mV/in/s) ±5% at 100 Hz (6,000 cpm) when properly terminated and oriented at the calibration angle, with a 25 mm/s (1 in/s) zero-to-peak range ±5% at the same frequency. Its frequency response spans from a minimum operating frequency up to 1 kHz (60,000 cpm), with typical ±3 dB deviation. The transducer operates in a temperature range of -29 degrees Celsius to +121 degrees Celsius (-20 F to +250 F) and can withstand mechanical shocks up to 50 g peak along the non-sensitive transverse axis.

A core feature is its low sensitivity to shock or pulse excitation compared to solid-state velocity sensors, which are integrated accelerometers with embedded electronics. It requires no external power supply, making it ideal for portable measurement applications. When ordered with an integrated cable, it offers enhanced corrosion resistance without additional protective components.
