Description

The BENTLY NEVADA 330980-51-00 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor is an eddy current proximity sensor belonging to the 3300 XL NSv series, designed for precision vibration monitoring of rotating machinery. It delivers a sensitivity of 7.87 mV/μm (200 mV/mil) ± 6.5%, ensuring accurate detection of small displacement and vibration changes. Models with suffix -05 or -CN hold explosion-proof certification, making them suitable for hazardous chemical environments.

This compact sensor can be installed in tight spaces, such as the narrow gaps of centrifugal air compressors, and is paired with compatible extension cables available in 5-meter and 7-meter lengths. It supports signal transmission via 4-20mA to PLC or DCS systems when used with Bently Nevada monitoring devices including 990/991, 2300/20, and 1900/65 units. The sensor is factory-calibrated for AISI4140 steel, with optional custom calibration for other target materials.

Ideal for monitoring centrifugal air compressors, small water pumps, motors, and fans, it is widely applied in steel, power, metallurgy, chemical, and petrochemical industries. It offers electrical and physical interchangeability with non-XL 3300 5mm and 8mm components, and can be paired with extended temperature range (ETR) probes and cables for use in environments up to 260 degrees Celsius, maintaining compatibility with standard 3300 XL proximitors.
