BENTLY NEVADA 126648-02 Isolated Keyphasor I/O Module
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 126648-02 Isolated Keyphasor I/O Module is a half-height, two-channel industrial monitoring component designed for machinery shaft measurement and signal isolation. Optimized for magnetic pickup applications, it is also compatible with Proximitor setups when an external power supply is provided, delivering full electrical isolation from connected systems. This makes it ideal for scenarios requiring multi-device keyphasor signal connections and isolation from other control or monitoring systems, such as gas turbine and rotating equipment installations.
Core functions include shaft speed measurement and phase measurement, though it produces a slightly larger phase shift compared to non-isolated modules. It accepts input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups, with a specified input range of +5V to -11V for isolated operation; non-isolated I/O modules in the same series have a range of +0.8V to -21.0V. The module features two buffered keyphasor outputs with a maximum output impedance of 504 ohms, and each channel supports a maximum power supply of -24 VDC, 40 mA, with a typical power consumption of 3.2 watts. When integrated with the 3500 Machinery Protection System, it supports up to four keyphasor signals in normal configuration, and up to eight signals in a paired configuration, converting analog transducer inputs to digital keyphasor signals for precise shaft position and speed tracking.
