BENTLY NEVADA 330180-91-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 330180-91-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is a core component of eddy current displacement sensor systems, designed to convert probe-detected electrical signals proportional to target distance into standard DC voltage outputs for use with monitors or DCS systems. Configured for a 9.0 meter total system length, it supports DIN rail mounting and holds NEPSI hazardous area certification. This sensor is compatible with non-contact 3300 series 5mm, 3300 8mm, or 3300 XL 8mm eddy current probes and extension cables. Key electrical specifications include: power supply range of -17.5Vdc to -26Vdc at 12mA without a safety barrier, or -23Vdc to -26Vdc with a safety barrier; operation at -23.5Vdc reduces linear range. It has a power supply voltage sensitivity of less than 2mV output change per 1V input voltage variation, with a typical extension cable capacitance of 69.9pF/m (21.3pF/ft). Recommended field wiring is 0.2 to 1.5 square mm (16 to 24AWG) or 0.25 to 0.75 square mm (18 to 23AWG) with metal rings, using 3-core shielded cable, and supports a maximum 305 meter (1000 foot) length from the sensor to the monitor. Highly immune to radio frequency interference, it is ideal for critical applications like radial vibration and axial position monitoring of gas turbine rotors in high-temperature, high-speed, and hazardous environments.
