Bently Nevada | 990-05-70-01-01 | Vibration Transmitter
Description
The Bently Nevada 990-05-70-01-01 Vibration Transmitter is a member of the 990 Series of industrial monitoring devices, designed for reliable vibration measurement and machine health oversight. Key functions include peak vibration alarm, non-OK detection, and 4-20 mA proportional vibration signal output, which can connect to PLC systems to provide peak vibration trend data for predictive maintenance and process control. This transmitter is compatible with Bently 3300XL NSv eddy current proximity probes and matching extension cables, accepting input signals from these components to deliver accurate vibration readings.
It meets the API 670 standard, with a full measurement range of 0-4 mils pp (0-100 micro meters pp). Operating temperature ranges are -35 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius for the transmitter itself, and -35 degrees Celsius to +177 degrees Celsius for the paired probe; the unit weighs 0.43 kg. A 2-wire loop-powered device, it requires +12 to +35 Vdc input, with a maximum loop resistance of 1000 ohms at 35 Vdc. Ideal for monitoring rotating and reciprocating equipment including fans, reciprocating compressors, electric motors, pumps, blowers, centrifuges, and generators, it is commonly deployed in industries such as steel, power, chemical, petrochemical, and metallurgy.
