Description

The BENTLY NEVADA 146031-02 100Base-FX Fiber Optic I/O Module is an industrial communication module designed for reliable Ethernet connectivity and data acquisition. Based on the technical specifications of its closely related model 146031-01, it integrates core components including a main module, dual communication ports, and status monitoring features. It features a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet I/O port with RJ-45 interface, compatible with 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet cables for a maximum transmission distance of 100 meters, and a 100Base-FX fiber optic I/O port with MT-RJ connector for fiber optic cables. As a 100Mbps Ethernet standard over fiber, 100Base-FX supports full-duplex operation, uses 4B5B encoding for clock/data recovery, and transmits data over two separate fibers (one for send, one for receive); it enables maximum transmission distances of 40 kilometers over single-mode fiber and 2 kilometers over multi-mode fiber, making it ideal for backbone and long-distance industrial communication applications.
