BENTLY NEVADA 330171-12-41-10-02-05 3300 XL 5mm Proximity Probe
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 330171-12-41-10-02-05 3300 XL 5mm Proximity Probe is a compact eddy current sensor designed for rotating machinery condition monitoring. As part of the 3300 XL product line, this 5mm probe features a small physical footprint, making it an ideal alternative to 8mm probes when physical space constraints (not electrical limitations) prevent use of larger models. Unlike 8mm probes, it does not allow reduced side clearance or end-to-end spacing; for applications with extremely narrow side views, the 3300NSv eddy current sensor system is recommended instead.
This probe integrates with the 3300 XL sensor system, which includes compatible extension cables and proximitors, to measure critical parameters such as shaft vibration, static displacement, key phase, rotational speed, and differential expansion. It is factory-calibrated for AISI4140 steel, with custom calibration options available for alternative target materials. The system supports high-temperature environments, with optional Extended Temperature Range (ETR) components that can operate up to 260 degrees Celsius, and ETR parts are fully compatible with standard temperature range 3300 XL components.
Ideal for use in power generation, oil and gas, chemical, and metallurgy industries, it monitors equipment including steam turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes. The 3300 XL 5mm probe maintains electrical and physical interchangeability with non-XL 3300 5mm system components, though mixed system performance is limited by non-XL component specifications.
