BENTLY NEVADA 3500/25 125792-01 Enhanced Keyphasor Module
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/25 125792-01 Enhanced Keyphasor Module is a half-height, dual-channel module designed for the 3500 machinery protection system rack. Its core function is to convert and transmit Keyphasor signals to monitor modules within the rack. The module detects alignment between a shaft’s Keyphasor mark and a sensor using magnetic pickups or proximity probes, then converts the analog input into a digital Keyphasor signal. These signals, generated by rotating shafts or gears with each revolution or multiple events per revolution, enable precise timing detection, which supports measurement of shaft speed and vector characteristics such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase via 3500 monitor modules and external diagnostic tools. In standard configurations, the 3500 system can accept up to four Keyphasor signals, while paired module setups support up to eight signals. For triple module redundancy (TMR) applications requiring system Keyphasor input, two modules can operate in parallel to provide primary and secondary signals. The module maintains full form, fit, and function backward compatibility with legacy Keyphasor modules, while offering enhanced signal processing capabilities; it is fully replaced by the revised 149369-01 module.
