BENTLY NEVADA 3500/25 149369-01 Enhanced Keyphasor Module
Description
BENTLY NEVADA 3500/25 149369-01 Enhanced Keyphasor Module is a half-height, dual-channel component designed for mechanical condition monitoring systems, serving as an integral part of the 3500 Series monitoring framework. Its core function is to detect keyphasor signals and transmit them to monitor modules within the 3500 rack. During operation, it aligns with keyphasor marks on rotating shafts, using magnetic sensors or proximity probes to detect alignment, then converts analog input signals into digital keyphasor signals to provide a precise time reference for vibration monitoring and troubleshooting.
The module offers flexible system configuration: in standard setups, the 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four keyphasor signals, while paired configurations support up to eight signals. For triple module redundancy (TMR) applications, two modules operate in parallel to provide primary and secondary keyphasor signals to other rack components. Systems requiring more than four keyphasor inputs can use paired arrangements if primary inputs do not exceed four. A key feature is its full backward compatibility in form, fit, and function with existing Keyphasor modules, allowing use in legacy systems while delivering enhanced signal processing capabilities. It fully replaces the earlier Keyphasor module PWA 125792-01, and provides high-accuracy keyphasor signals to ensure the reliability of vibration monitoring data.
