BENTLY NEVADA 3500/42M 176449-02 Proximitor/Seismic Monitor
Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/42M 176449-02 Proximitor/Seismic Monitor is a four-channel monitoring device designed for industrial machinery condition monitoring. It accepts input from both proximity and seismic sensors, processes signals to deliver accurate vibration and position measurements, and compares these readings against user-programmable alarm setpoints to trigger alerts. Key features include paired channel configuration, allowing it to execute up to two designated functions simultaneously, such as using channels 1 and 2 for one monitoring task while channels 3 and 4 handle another identical or different task. Each channel can be programmed via 3500 rack configuration software to monitor and report a wide range of parameters, including radial vibration, REBAM, thrust position, acceleration, differential expansion, eccentricity, and velocity.
Technical specifications include a -24Vdc sensor power supply, buffered sensor outputs with front-panel coaxial connectors per channel and 550 ohms output impedance, and +4 to +20 mA recorder outputs that correspond to the monitor’s full-scale values, with a voltage compliance range of 0 to +12Vdc and load resistance of 0 to 600 ohms; monitor operation is unaffected by short circuits on recorder outputs. Integrated LED indicators provide status feedback: an OK LED for normal operation, a send/receive LED for communication with other 3500 rack modules, and a bypass LED to indicate when the unit is in bypass mode. The monitor protects machinery by continuously tracking critical parameters and relaying essential machine health information to operations and maintenance personnel.
