EPRO | PR9268/201-100 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor
Description
EPRO | PR9268/201-100 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor is an electrodynamic sensor with a built-in preamplifier, designed for precise vibration monitoring of industrial rotating equipment. Its core working principle relies on a measuring coil supported by a seismic mass and spring plates, which moves within the magnetic field of a circular permanent magnet; when the sensor housing vibrates, it generates a voltage signal directly proportional to vibration speed, enabling real-time, accurate reflection of equipment vibration status.
Key technical specifications include an operating temperature range up to 200 degrees Celsius, two optional frequency ranges of 10Hz-1000Hz or 4Hz-1000Hz, and a maximum measurable vibration amplitude of 2mm peak-to-peak, with some configurations supporting up to 3mm peak-to-peak. It offers robust environmental protection with IP 55 or IP 65 waterproof ratings, and when paired with a safety barrier for Zone 1 hazardous areas, it achieves an explosion-proof rating of EEx ib II B / II C.
Equipped with high sensitivity and strong anti-interference performance, this sensor integrates seamlessly with MMS6000 and MMS3000 rotating machinery monitoring and protection systems. Its rugged, durable construction makes it ideal for harsh industrial environments, with primary applications including vibration monitoring of steam, gas, and hydraulic turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, and other turbomachinery to support predictive maintenance and fault early warning.
