The Emerson Control Wave 396560-01-6 Bristol Babcock Micro Chassis is part of the versatile Control Wave Micro series, a hybrid industrial controller integrating PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) functions for use in oil and gas, water and wastewater treatment, and general industrial control applications. Built with a low-power ARM processor, it delivers high performance while minimizing energy consumption. The chassis supports flexible I/O expansion, with compatible base and extension chassis options in 2-slot, 3-slot, 4-slot, and 8-slot configurations, plus mixed I/O cards for cost-effective small-scale RTU deployments. It features up to two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and up to 11 serial communication ports with optional built-in modem support.
