Description

Emerson DeltaV SE3007 SX Controller is part of the DeltaV distributed control system (DCS) family, a high-performance control station designed to manage and coordinate multiple controllers for industrial automation applications. It delivers doubled control capacity, doubled user-configurable memory, and doubled DST count compared to smaller DeltaV MQ controllers, while fitting the same installation footprint for seamless upgrade from MQ models without changing existing configurations, documentation, or hardware designs. Powered by a multi-core x86 processor, it includes 4GB RAM and 16GB Flash memory, supporting up to 1024 I/O points. The controller supports multiple industrial communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet/IP; for Profibus DP, a 220 ohm terminal resistor is required for first and last nodes, and Ethernet/IP requires shielded twisted pair cable of CAT5e or higher. A dedicated USB service port is provided exclusively for maintenance and must be covered with a dust cap when not in use. It operates on 24VDC power, has an operating temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius, a protection rating of IP20, weighs approximately 5kg, and uses rack mounting with dimensions of 483mm x 445mm x 177mm. It also supports 1:1 redundant architecture to enhance system availability, making it suitable for large-scale, demanding industrial process control scenarios.
