The Emerson A6500-UM Universal Measurement Card is a core component of the AMS 6500 ATG mechanical protection system, designed for comprehensive monitoring of rotating machinery. It features dual-channel operation, with 2 sensor input channels that can be configured independently or in combination to simultaneously monitor two separate measurement points. Boasting exceptional versatility, it supports a wide range of sensor inputs, including eddy current, piezoelectric (accelerometer or velocity transducer), seismic (electrodynamic), low-frequency bearing vibration, Hall effect, and LVDT sensors (when used with the A6500-LC).

Equipped with advanced signal processing capabilities, including FFT analysis, peak analysis, and band-pass filters, the card enables early detection of potential mechanical faults to enhance equipment reliability.
