Description

The Allen-Bradley SST-PB3-CLX-RLL Profibus Scanner Module is a high-performance industrial communication module from the SST product line, designed for seamless integration with Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLC platforms, as well as Honeywell PlantScape systems. It can operate simultaneously as a Profibus DP master and slave device, enabling reliable data exchange between PLC controllers and Profibus-compatible field devices such as drives, I/O modules, sensors, and actuators. Key features include a 100% backward-compatible enhanced design that delivers 2x faster speed than the previous generation SST-PFB-CLX model, and flexible configuration that eliminates the need for ladder code, allowing dynamic addition or removal of Profibus slave devices via “set slave” addresses. It supports remote configuration and diagnostics locally or over CIP networks through RSLinx fieldbus modules, and offers a large user-defined data space with up to 1984 bytes of input and 1968 bytes of output.
