Allen-Bradley 1769-IF4 CompactLogix Analog Input Module
Description
The Allen-Bradley 1769-IF4 CompactLogix Analog Input Module is a precision data acquisition component designed for industrial automation systems. It features 4 differential or single-ended analog input channels that support both current and voltage signal measurements, with configurable input ranges including ±10V, 0-10V, 0-5V, 1-5V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, plus extended ranges like ±10.5V, -0.5-10.5V, -0.5-5.25V, 0.5-5.25V, 0-21mA, and 3.2-21mA. The module performs analog-to-digital conversion and storage of collected data, enabling seamless integration with CompactLogix systems for process monitoring and control. A key feature is automatic calibration for each channel, triggered when the channel is first enabled or when its configuration differs from the previous setting, ensuring consistent measurement accuracy. Notably, it does not provide loop power for analog inputs, requiring a separate power supply matched to input transmitter specifications. The module has physical dimensions of 118mm x 35mm x 87mm (height x width x depth), with a height of 138mm when mounting lugs are included, and weighs approximately 290g. Users can flexibly wire channels as either single-ended or differential inputs to suit specific application requirements.
