Allen-Bradley 1794-OE4 Flex 4 Point Analog Output Module
Description
The Allen-Bradley 1794-OE4 Flex 4 Point Analog Output Module is a member of the Flex I/O product line, designed as a component for distributed I/O nodes and compatible with multiple Flex I/O communication adapters including Ethernet, ControlNet, Profibus, and remote I/O types. It enables automatic and manual control of regulating equipment such as variable frequency drives, control valves, converters, sensors, dampers, louvers, and other final control elements. This module features 4 user-configurable, non-isolated, single-ended output channels, each programmable to deliver a range of output signals: 0 to 20mA, 4 to 20mA current signals, and +/-10VDC, 0 to 10VDC voltage signals. Key technical specifications include a 12-bit plus sign bit resolution, with a voltage resolution of 2.56mV per count and a current resolution of 5.13 microamps per count. It uses a left-aligned, 16-bit two’s complement data format for signal transmission, ensuring precise, reliable analog output for industrial automation and process control applications.
