Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6I ControlLogix Isolated Analog Input Module is a high-performance component for industrial automation data collection, part of the ControlLogix product line. It offers flexible channel configurations: 16 single-ended input channels, 8 differential input channels, or 4 high-speed differential input channels, adapting to diverse wiring requirements. The module supports a wide range of industrial standard analog signals, including voltage signals such as ±10V, 0-10V, 0-5V, and current signals such as 0-20mA, 4-20mA, with corresponding input ranges of 0-5.125V, 0-10.25V, ±10.25V for voltage, and 4-20mA for current.

Equipped with 16-bit resolution, it delivers precise signal conversion, with a maximum accuracy of ≤0.15% of full scale for current signals at 25 degrees Celsius. Its scan times are optimized for different channel setups: 16.488ms for 16 single-ended channels, 8.244ms for 8 differential channels, ensuring responsive data acquisition for time-sensitive applications. Key features include hot-swappable capability for convenient maintenance without system shutdown, and robust isolation with 250V between channels and the bus, plus 25V between individual channels to prevent signal interference. It supports integer mode (left-aligned, two’s complement) and IEEE 32-bit floating-point data formats, and offers configurable electronic and user-defined mechanical keys. The module has compact physical dimensions: 130mm height, 35mm width, 118mm depth, and weighs approximately 0.32kg, saving cabinet space. A built-in display aids diagnostic troubleshooting, and it uses a removable 36-pin 1756-TBCH terminal block for easy wiring.
