Allen-Bradley 1746-NI4 Analog I/O Module

Description

The Allen-Bradley 1746-NI4 is a 4-channel analog input module belonging to the SLC 500 series, designed for industrial control systems. It supports user-selectable input signals, including direct current ranging from -20mA to +20mA and direct voltage ranging from -10V to +10V, making it suitable for a wide range of monitoring and control applications. Key technical specifications include a 16-bit resolution, 10Hz bandwidth, and current input coding ranging from -16384 to +16384. The module features a removable terminal block for simplified analog input channel connections, and channels can be configured as differential inputs. A DIP switch on the circuit board allows users to select between current or voltage input modes. Its power specifications include a backplane current draw of 25mA at 5V and 85mA at 24V.
