Description

X20BC0083 is a POWERLINK bus controller designed for industrial automation systems, with core functions including I/O configuration and firmware updates via fieldbus. It integrates a built-in hub to enable cost-effective wiring, and can connect X2X Link I/O nodes to the POWERLINK network. The device supports operation of X2X Link cycles in 1:1 synchronization or synchronized with POWERLINK, leveraging the hard real-time capabilities of the POWERLINK (V1/V2) protocol.

Key technical specifications include a bus power consumption of 2.0W, and certifications such as CE, cULus, ATEX Zone 2, and GOST-R. It features 2 shielded RJ45 ports (hub) with a transmission rate of 100Mbit/s, using a 100 BASE-TX physical interface. The controller supports half-duplex, auto-negotiation, and Auto-MDI/MDIX, but does not support full-duplex. Operating temperature ranges from -25 to 60 degrees Celsius for horizontal installation, and -25 to 50 degrees Celsius for vertical installation. Note that the device requires separately purchased accessories: 1 X20TB12 terminal block, 1 X20PS9400 or X20PS9402 power module, and 1 X20BB80 base unit. Status indicators (LEDs) are included for module status and bus function diagnostics, and it supports dynamic node allocation (DNA).
