Description

The B&R X20AT6402 is an advanced, OEM-certified high-speed PLC module and core component of the X20 I/O system for industrial automation systems. Built with a modular structure, this intelligent I/O controller offers flexible performance, structure, and topology customization, supporting both centralized and distributed installation. It allows adjacent station distances up to 100 meters, with expandability to a maximum of 253 stations, and is compatible with most mainstream fieldbuses, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial control applications. Composed of three basic units – terminal block, electrical module, and bus module – it integrates the advantages of traditional rail-mounted and plug-in I/O systems, including pre-wiring capability outside the system, hot-swappable electrical modules, and free bus slots for accessories. The system features a compact, highly modular “plug-in” design, paired with an Intel Atom CPU that handles tasks of all sizes.
