Description

The B&R X20CP1382 is a compact industrial PLC from the X20 control system series, designed for flexible, low-maintenance automation tasks. It features an Intel x86 400MHz processor, paired with 256MB DDR3 SDRAM, 2GB onboard flash drive, and 32kB FRAM for variable storage. The unit supports seamless integration with integrated I/O processors, and includes 1 slot for modular interface expansion, plus compatibility with the X20 “slice” system for flexible I/O expansion.

Equipped with robust communication capabilities, it offers Ethernet, POWERLINK with polling response chain, 2x USB ports, RS232 interface, and optional CAN bus connectivity; it also supports EtherNet/IP RT for real-time performance. Onboard I/O includes 30 digital input/output points and 2 analog inputs, with 1 analog input dedicated to Pt1000 resistance temperature measurement.
