The B&R X20CP3584 Industrial PLC Controller is a compact, high-speed automation module designed for precise, real-time industrial control applications. Powered by 24V DC, it features an Intel Atom CPU that enables high-speed, precision closed-loop control for machines and systems, capable of handling tasks of all sizes with reliable performance. Its unique slice-style, highly modular design delivers extreme compactness, measuring only 37.5mm wide including power supply, making it ideal for space-constrained automation setups.

Equipped with standard POWERLINK, Ethernet, USB, and RS232 communication interfaces, plus an optional CAN interface without increasing its footprint, it offers flexible, diverse connectivity options for integration into complex industrial networks. The controller supports both centralized and distributed I/O installations, with adjacent sites reachable up to 100m and expandable to a maximum of 253 sites, ensuring scalable system design. It is compatible with most mainstream fieldbuses, suiting a wide range of industrial control scenarios.

Constructed from three core units – terminal block, electrical module, and bus module – it combines the advantages of traditional rail-mounted and slice-style I/O systems, including pre-wiring capability, hot-swappable electrical modules, and free bus slots for accessory use, simplifying installation and disassembly.
