Description

The 80SD100XD.C0XX-01 is a B&R ACPu stepper motor module designed to control two encoder-free, 2-phase bipolar stepper motors via its X2X Connection, with a 10A capacity per channel. It operates on an input power range of DC10V to DC40V 2A and has a compact 40mm x 40mm square form factor. The module offers adjustable step resolution from 1/2 to 1/256, enabling smooth, precise motor movement. It supports two operation modes: PC control or standalone control, with the ability to manage up to 16 linked drives when in PC control mode.

Equipped with a RS485 communication interface (with optional RS232/USB conversion), it ensures flexible connectivity for system integration. The module is compatible with NEMA23 (57 series) and smaller 2-phase bipolar stepper motors, with optimal performance achieved when the motor’s nominal voltage (rated current x resistance) does not exceed 1/4 of the supply voltage. It features four digital or analog signal inputs, with low potential defined as <0.8V and high potential as >2V, plus encoder input support for primary and secondary quadrature square wave signals at a maximum frequency of 4MHz. Operating temperatures range from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius (standard) or -20 to 50 degrees Celsius (custom), with a working and storage relative humidity range of 10% to 90% without condensation.
