B&R X20SI4100 SIL2 Safety Controller is a DIN-rail mounted machine protection system, part of the compact, high-performance B&R X20 System, optimized for packaging lines and automated assembly applications. Certified to SIL2 safety standards, it delivers reliable, safety-compliant machine protection for industrial automation tasks. As part of the X20 “slice” system, it offers exceptional flexibility, allowing easy integration of additional I/O modules to scale for tasks of all sizes. Measuring only 37.5 mm wide including power supply, it is one of the most compact controllers in its class, saving critical panel space. It comes standard with rich communication options including POWERLINK, Ethernet, USB, and RS232, with an optional CAN interface available without increasing its footprint.
