FS211/N Bachmann FASTBUS Module
Description
The FS211/N Bachmann FASTBUS Module is a specialized module designed for remote device control and data transmission, engineered to support industrial automation applications requiring reliable long-distance connectivity. Key features include low signal delay for real-time performance, an integrated power supply capable of powering connected I/O modules, and built-in status displays for operational status (RUN/ERR) and fiber type identification. It is available in both master and slave configurations: master modules offer 1 or 2 fiber optic interfaces, while slave modules include 1 or 2 fiber optic interfaces with integrated power supply. Technical specifications support multiple operating voltage options, including 220V and 24V DC, with an output frequency of 60Hz. The module enables connection of up to 15 distributed sub-devices, with variable transmission distances depending on cable type: 40 meters for POF cables, 150 meters for HCS cables, and 180 meters for special HCS cables. Its robust design ensures stable data transfer over extended distances, making it suitable for distributed industrial control systems where consistent, low-latency communication is critical.
