Description

The CRBX01 ABB Communication Repeater Module is a compact remote bus expander belonging to ABB’s Freelance and Symphony Plus product lines, designed for large distributed control systems. As a fiber optic repeater, its core functions include transparently extending HN800 and CW800 IO buses, supporting point-to-point communication between SD series and HPC800 series controllers, and enabling connection of up to 60 HN800 devices. Key technical specifications include a communication rate of up to 4 Mbps, maximum transmission distance of 3 kilometers via 62.5/125 micro multi-mode fiber cable, and 1200 meters via standard fiber.
