ABB DSTC 130 Communication Board
Description
The ABB DSTC 130 Communication Board is a central control and communication component designed for use in field control systems. It features compact dimensions of 15.2 cm x 2.5 cm x 10.2 cm and a lightweight design weighing 0.1 kg (4.0 ounces), making it suitable for space-constrained industrial setups. Operating under the THM166 specification, the board has a low power consumption of 100mA @ 5V DC, ensuring efficient energy use in continuous operation.
Equipped with 16 channels, it supports multiple input types including J, K, N, T, E, R, S, B, C, and X, with a resolution of 0.5 degrees Celsius or 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit and typical accuracy of +/- 0.5 degrees Celsius for J, K, N, and T types. Key electrical specifications include an input impedance of 20 milliohms, a safe overload range of +/- 35V, and a common mode range of +/- 12V. It requires 16% AI and 16% I/O points for integration. The board includes a human-machine interface (HMI) with a graphic LCD and programmable buttons, and features a modular, pull-out structure to reduce replacement time. It also supports IEEE 1588 (PTP), IRIG-B, and SNTP time synchronization, streamlining troubleshooting and lowering long-term maintenance efforts.
