DSPC 170 ABB Processor Module
Description
DSPC 170 ABB Processor Module is a core central processing unit module designed for industrial automation control systems, and is part of the ABB Advant OCS control system. Equipped with a high-performance dual-core processor architecture, it supports multi-tasking, real-time control, multiple programming languages, and various input/output interfaces, enabling fast and accurate processing of large volumes of industrial control commands and data. It offers flexible storage configurations: some models include 512KB RAM with 1GB flash memory, while others feature 1GB DDR3 RAM with 4GB eMMC Flash, supporting large-scale data storage and processing needs for industrial production. The module supports diverse communication interfaces and protocols, including RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and Modbus TCP, enabling seamless networking and integration with sensors, actuators, human-machine interfaces, and other devices. With a compact form factor of 118mm x 82mm x 12mm and weight options of approximately 100 grams or 0.915 kg, it fits well in various industrial enclosures, and supports expansion with additional input/output and communication modules. Rated for operation from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius with a typical 5V DC power supply (some variants support 220V at 50Hz), it delivers high reliability and stability in harsh industrial environments. It is widely used in production process control and automation across industries such as oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, textile, and steel, and meets relevant industrial safety standards with CE certification.
