Description

The ABB DSDI 110 Digital Input Board is a versatile industrial digital input component, with variants including the standard DSDI 110A and safety-focused DSDI 110N. The DSDI 110A features 32 channels of 24VDC digital input, designed for use with the DSTD N007 terminal board, supporting both single and redundant power configurations for flexible integration. The DSDI 110N, a safety digital input (SDI) variant, works with the Safeguard 400 series, enabling single/dual system testing and redundant setups; it pairs with one or two DSTD N031 logic boards, uses dual connections for its link unit, and reserves channel 32 as a test indicator between the link unit and input board. All variants interface with dedicated link units like DSTA N012 or DSTA N013, with cyclic signals routed to these units, which include terminals for field input connections. Suitable for industrial automation scenarios such as production line status monitoring and safety interlock systems, the board offers reliable signal processing, with enhanced models supporting wide voltage input ranges (24VDC/48VDC/110VDC/220VAC), fast response times (input ≤1ms typical), and 2500VAC optical isolation between channels for robust electromagnetic compatibility.
