ABB EI 813F Ethernet Module
Description
The ABB EI 813F Ethernet Module is an industrial communication module designed for the Freelance AC 800F system, built to enable network communication between controllers, upper computers, HMI, and other devices for data exchange and remote control. It supports the IEEE 802.3 10BaseT Ethernet protocol via an RJ45 interface, with a data transmission rate of 10 Mbps and a bandwidth of 100 Mbps, and is compatible with mainstream industrial protocols including PROFINET and MODBUS for seamless integration into various industrial networks.
Key technical features include DMA technology that keeps CPU load below 4%, 32-bit data bus transmission, and a built-in battery backup circuit to maintain main memory data during power outages; this can be extended to 16 MB of memory protection with an AM811F high-energy battery module. The module offers plug-and-play configuration, with engineer station software automatically identifying parameters, and supports online firmware upgrades. It features dual LED status indicators for real-time monitoring of communication status and battery voltage, plus a fault-level interrupt reporting mechanism, and meets EN 61000-6-2 standards for electromagnetic interference resistance.
Built for industrial environments with high stability and reliability, it has a modular design for easy installation and maintenance. Its operating temperature range is 0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius, with physical dimensions of 125 mm deep, 155 mm high, 28 mm wide, and a net weight of 0.15 kg. It is widely applicable in various industrial control systems for efficient data collection and transmission.
