Description

The BC810 ABB Two Screw Connector product family includes core control units, bus interconnect units, cables, and cold press connectors for industrial automation applications. The BC810 controller unit is composed of two basic components: a substrate (TP857) and a power/logic board. Its backplane features a CEX bus connector and external power supply, grounded to the DIN rail via the casing’s metal components, and is equipped with external power voting diodes and fuses. The power and logic board integrates a +3.3V converter, logic circuits, CEX bus interconnect drivers, and interconnect cable connectors. The BC810K01 bus interconnect unit supports high-speed data transmission, reliable communication, and broad compatibility, suitable for connecting PLCs, sensors, actuators, and monitoring devices in control systems. The BC810K02 robot cable is designed for DCS system applications. Supporting accessories include ABB cold press connectors, which meet IEC & UL/CSA standards, offering metric (Color-Keyed, Spec-Kon) and AWG (Color-Keyed) size options. These connectors use 99.9% oxygen-free copper terminals, feature color-coded crimp systems for accurate installation, and create low-impedance, secure connections. Nylon-housed cable accessories provide water-tight, rodent-proof, and sand-proof protection.
