The ABB PFEA112-65 Tension Electronics is a high-precision, high-reliability tension control and measurement unit designed for continuous material processing. It supports closed-loop tension regulation using PID control, with a measurement range of 0 to 65kN, a basic measurement accuracy of ±0.1% FS, and a control accuracy of ±0.5% FS, ensuring consistent tension to reduce waste, improve product quality, and boost production efficiency. Key technical specifications include a response time of less than 10ms, 0.01kN resolution, and compatibility with 24V DC (±10%) or 110/230V AC power supplies. It accepts analog input signals of ±10V / 0(4)~20mA and digital encoder signals (A/B/Z phase), and outputs analog signals of ±10V / 0(4)~20mA plus relay contacts rated for up to 5A @ 230V AC. Optional communication interfaces include RS-485, PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT for easy integration into industrial control systems.
