Description

The ABB SD821 (3BSC610037R1) is an industrial power supply device available in two configurations: an AC-DC regulated power module and a power transfer switch. As an AC-DC module, it is engineered exclusively for the AC 800M control system, delivering stable 24V DC power to controllers and I/O modules via advanced switch power technology. It features selectable 115/230V AC dual input voltage, a rated 2.5A constant output, and 60W output power, with over 85% full-load efficiency, <50mVpp ripple noise, and ±1% full-load regulation accuracy. This module supports parallel load sharing and redundant configurations, uses standard DIN rail mounting, has a compact 52mm-wide form factor, and weighs approximately 0.5kg. It offers comprehensive protection including auto-recovery short circuit protection, 28V DC overvoltage protection, and 150% rated current overcurrent capability for 10 seconds, with a -25 to 70 degrees Celsius operating temperature range and IP20 protection class. As a power transfer switch, it enables 20-millisecond fast power switching between two power sources to ensure continuous power for critical equipment, with up to 20A output current, IP67 protection class, and overcurrent, overvoltage, and short circuit protection.
