Description
ABB DI880 Digital Input Module is a high-performance A/D (analog-to-digital) input module designed for industrial automation systems, capable of converting continuous analog signals from field sensors into 12-bit digital signals readable by PLC CPUs, with higher bit count ensuring enhanced resolution. It is a 16-channel 24V dc digital input module suitable for both single and redundant configurations, with an input voltage range of 18 to 30V dc and an input current of 7mA at 24V dc. Each input channel is equipped with current-limiting components, EMC protection components, input status indicator LEDs, and optoelectronic isolation barriers, and features a current-limiting transducer power output per channel. The module integrates a Sequence of Events (SOE) function that collects events with 1ms resolution, supports an event queue of up to 512×16 events, and includes a shutter filter to suppress unwanted events, while reporting statuses such as channel values, queue full, and channel errors via event messages. With excellent anti-interference performance through shielding and filtering measures, it ensures stable and accurate signal transmission. Ideal for process control, environmental monitoring, and energy management applications, it provides reliable data acquisition for industrial processes like temperature, pressure, flow, and air quality monitoring, supporting stable and precise operation of automated systems.
