1756-L61 | Allen-Bradley | Processor Module
Description
The 1756-L61 is a ControlLogix series programmable logic controller (PLC) from Allen-Bradley, designed for complex industrial automation control tasks. It features a 533MHz PowerPC processor for fast, stable system response, paired with robust memory configurations: 2MB user memory, 478kb I/O memory, and 512MB on-board RAM. For expanded storage, it supports a 1784-CF128 CompactFlash card for 128MB non-volatile memory, plus a 4GB SD card slot to store programs and data logs.
This processor module offers flexible connectivity with a gigabit Ethernet/IP port, USB 2.0 port, and integrated RS232 port, supporting multiple protocols including EtherNet/IP, DF1, DH-485, and Modbus. It can handle up to 28000 discrete I/O points and 4000 analog I/O points, and supports both standalone and distributed I/O applications, as well as system redundancy for enhanced availability in critical operations. Integrated motion control is enabled via an embedded SERCOS interface.
Operating specifications include a working temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius, storage temperature of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, relative humidity of 5% to 95% (non-condensing), vibration resistance of 2g at 10 to 500Hz, and shock resistance of 30g during operation and 50g when non-operational. It is designed for installation in 1756 ControlLogix chassis slots, making it suitable for industrial applications such as manufacturing, process control, and automated production lines.
