Description

The 2750-2 Safety I/O Module Triconex is a component of the Triconex safety system, a trusted platform with over 30 years of history and more than 1 billion hours of safe process plant operation. As part of a triple modular redundant (TMR) architecture, this module delivers high reliability for critical industrial applications, withstanding harsh operating environments. It supports field installation and online module replacement and repair without disrupting field wiring, ensuring uninterrupted plant operation. The module integrates with Triconex systems that can support up to 118 I/O modules (analog and digital) and remote I/O modules located up to 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from the main rack. Compatible with certified safety control platforms including Tricon, Trident, and Tri-GP, the system meets Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3) standards. It is designed for use in high-risk sectors such as oil and gas refining, petrochemicals, power generation, pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals, supporting critical safety functions like emergency shutdown (ESD), fire and gas (F&G) monitoring, burner management systems (BMS), and turbine control and protection (TMC).
