5466-411 | Woodward | MicroNet Ethernet RJ45
Description
The Woodward 5466-411 MicroNet Ethernet RJ45 is an industrial communication component designed for reliable network connectivity in automation systems. While direct model-specific data is limited, it aligns with industrial Ethernet RJ45 standards, supporting key performance and environmental specifications typical of such devices. It features an RJ45 interface optimized for 10/100Base-T(X) Ethernet, complying with IEEE 802.3 standards, and supports auto-negotiation for full or half-duplex operation, plus HP Auto-MDI/MDIX for flexible cabling. The component is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions, with a working temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, and uses robust cabling with a PVC jacket rated for fixed applications from -40 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius. Cabling specifications include 22AWG solid bare copper conductors, 100±15 ohms characteristic impedance, insulation resistance of at least 5G ohms per km, and conductor DC resistance of no more than 60 ohms per km at 20 degrees Celsius. It supports critical industrial protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus/TCP, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP, enabling seamless integration with PLCs, DDC controllers, IP cameras, and other automation equipment. The component includes status indicators for link and active connection monitoring, and supports transmission distances up to 100 meters with shielded or unshielded twisted pair cabling.
