900C73R-0100-44 Honeywell HC900 Controller Redundant I/O Scanner
Description
The 900C73R-0100-44 Redundant I/O Scanner is a core component of the Honeywell ControlEdge HC900 Controller, designed for industrial control applications. It features adjustable recipe pool memory for allocating recipes, setpoint profiles, sequences, and schedules, and offers robust I/O connectivity: it can support up to 4608 points via remote I/O, with up to 2304 electrically isolated analog input points and up to 1008 redundant UIO points.
Key functional capabilities include boolean logic programming with over 100 algorithm combinations, advanced floating-point math functions, and comprehensive alarm and event monitoring, plus priority email alerts for critical events. It also includes new I/O voting and output verification function blocks, and supports extended-distance remote I/O racks with wiring, as well as star or ring topologies on the I/O network using recommended switches.
The scanner supports hot-swappable operation for itself and I/O components, and features LED on/off indicators for digital I/O. It uses graphical function block configuration, and offers an open 10MB or 10/100MB Ethernet interface with Modbus/TCP for peer-to-peer communication. Additional features include a ramp/soak setpoint programmer, a multi-output setpoint scheduler, and sequencers with 16 outputs each, plus configurable fixed or custom addresses for Modbus read/write parameters to simplify HMI or monitoring software access.
