Description

The ABB 5SHX2645L0002 is a high-performance power electronic module from the ABB 5SHX series, built with IGCT (Integrated Gate-Commutated Thyristor) technology. This module integrates gate-turn-off thyristor (GTO) chips, anti-parallel diodes, and gate drive circuitry, combining the stable turn-off capability of transistors with the low on-state loss advantages of thyristors for optimized power handling. Key technical specifications include a rated current of 2645 Amperes, rated voltage of 1000 Volts, and compatibility with 50/60 Hertz systems. It features natural cooling as standard, with an optional forced cooling fan that operates on 230VAC 50Hz external power, and has an IP20 protection rating.
