Description

The ABB CI522-MODTCP Interface Module is an expandable industrial module belonging to the ABB AC500 Programmable Controller Series. Designed as a Modbus TCP I/O expansion module, it enables seamless communication between compatible drives and various Modbus TCP server devices, including barcode scanners, PLCs, and human-machine interfaces. Specifically, it works with MicroFlex e190 and MotiFlex e180 servo inverters with the 58xx firmware series, which feature built-in Modbus TCP client functionality.
