ABB DSAI301 Analog Input Unit
Description
The ABB DSAI301 Analog Input Unit is a high-performance industrial automation component, with comparable technical specifications and features to the closely related ABB DSAI130 Series Analog Input Module. Its core function is converting analog signals from field devices into digital signals for precise industrial measurement and control. Key technical parameters include a 24 VDC supply voltage, operating temperature range of -25 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius, storage temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, and operating humidity of 5% to 95% non-condensing. The unit has dimensions of 112mm x 22.5mm x 129mm and weighs approximately 300g. It features 8 differential input channels that support multiple signal types, including 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-10 VDC, ±10 VDC, thermocouples, and RTDs. With a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter resolution, basic accuracy of ±0.1% of span at 25 degrees Celsius, and configurable per-channel update rate of 100ms, it ensures high-precision signal acquisition. Additional highlights include channel-to-channel isolation, a common mode rejection ratio of greater than 120 dB, fast signal conversion time, Modbus TCP/IP communication interface, and IP67 protection rating. It is suitable for applications in metallurgy automation systems, environmental monitoring and data recording systems, and pharmaceutical precision control systems.
