ABB LD 800HSE Linking Device
Description
The ABB LD 800HSE Linking Device is a FOUNDATION Fieldbus (FF) gateway designed to connect FF High-Speed Ethernet (HSE) subnets with FF H1 field devices, enabling seamless data exchange between network layers. It features 1 Ethernet channel (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, auto-sensing 10 Mbit/s or 100 Mbit/s) and 4 FF H1 channels, with H1 ports using 3-pole pluggable screw terminals, transformer-coupled and current-isolated, operating at 31.25 kbit/s. Additional communication includes an RS485 interface, while I/O capabilities cover 8 digital inputs, 4 analog inputs, 6 digital outputs, and 2 analog outputs.
Powered by 24V DC, the device supports a wide operating voltage range of 85-265V AC/DC, with a working temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius and an IP20 protection rating. It is designed for DIN rail mounting, with compact dimensions including a net height of 45 mm, net width of 130.5 mm, and net weight of 0.4 kg. Key features include support for redundant configurations to ensure reliable failover and continuous monitoring, plus two versions for use in safe areas and hazardous areas. It enables access to connected FF field devices from supervisory, control, and management systems, and can identify, configure, and reprocess data and alarms across H1 and HSE networks.
