Description

The ABB NTDI02 Logic Station Termination Unit is a digital interface termination unit designed for industrial automation systems, serving as a reliable connection hub between field devices and control systems. It features robust serial port protection, including 15KV ESD protection, 1500VDC isolation voltage, and 600W surge protection to withstand harsh industrial electrical disturbances. For power supply, it offers a 12-24V DC main power input with non-polar connection, consuming less than 2.0W (max 80mA at 24VDC), and includes 60V, 500mA overvoltage/overcurrent protection plus 600W surge protection. An auxiliary 15-28VDC power input is also available, with power consumption dependent on total AO output current, and 32V, 200mA overvoltage/overcurrent protection. Operating in temperatures from -25 degrees Celsius to 75 degrees Celsius and storage temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius, it supports 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity. The unit uses Modbus RTU communication protocol, with an address range of 1-254 (supporting up to 250 devices on a single bus) and configurable stop bits (1 default, 1.5 for no parity, 2 for no parity). Housed in ABS engineering plastic, it measures 124.5mm x 72.0mm x 43.5mm (including terminals and slot plate) and supports standard DIN rail or screw mounting for flexible installation in industrial control cabinets.
